Fafi graffiti artist and Ed Banger wife

Fafi is a graffiti artist that started out studying under Miss Van and Miss Kat. Originally from Toulouse, her graffiti was first noticed on walls of her hometown in 1994. Fafi captures the attention of the main stream and begins to travel around the world, Europe, USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Soon after, Sony asked her to draw 6 characters for the collection of toys “Time Capsules”, an evolution of her characters in 3D almost natural. She was featured as the artist for last seasons MAC cosmetics line as well as numerous collaborations with other companies like Colette, Adidas, LeSportsac, Coca Cola, Married to the Mob, Coachella and numerous articles in the most prestigious magazines (Vogue, Elle, The Face, XLR8R, Yen, etc.). The world of 3D animation in the video by Mark Ronson featuring Lily Allen a “fafinettisée. The multi-faceted work of Fafi is documented in her books GIRLS ROCK (2003) and LOVE AND FAFINESS (2006), two major success that are found in the libraries,  museums and a selection of shops. She is also the wife of DJ Mehdi of the Ed Banger label. I got to hang out with them last November when they where here for Fabulous Festival and I have to say its obvious they are very in love you can feel the energy of love glowing from them.
